John Butler

At Atlanta, GA based Pegasus Partners, Butler is an International Team Member of the Pegasus team that advises both businesses locating in North America as well as development authorities interested in attracting foreign direct investment.  The focus for both areas of practice are German speaking medium-sized industrial companies.

The consulting approach with businesses starting production or building representation in the United States is vertically integrated.  Pegasus Partners starts with composing comprehensive business plans, administers the site selection process, and finally organizes the actual startup of the business in the chosen community.

Butler come to Pegasus from 20 years of Economic Development as he worked in Economic Development with the State of Tennessee at the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.

In working with various development authorities across North America, Pegasus Partners forms close relationships between matching regions with the goal of ultimately attracting foreign direct investment in both directions.

Butler has worked with private companies in Site Selection work including:  advanced manufacturing, automotive, logistics, aerospace, food products, healthcare and the pharmaceutical sectors.  Prior to his Economic Development and Site Selector career, Butler was in system design and is from the United Kingdom.
